Lagos Govt Commissions 29,000 Square Metre TY Logistics Park FZE

Lagos State Government on Monday commissined a 29,000-square-metre TY Logistics Park FZE, a Grade-A contract logistics facility described as the first of its kind in West Africa.
The commissioning which took place at Alaro Free Zone within the Lekki corridor marked another major step in Lagos’ ambition to build Africa’s most advanced industrial and logistics ecosystem.
Located a short distance from the Lekki Deep Sea Port and minutes away from the planned international airport, the facility is designed to international specifications and offers more than 45,000 pallet positions.
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu while commissioning the project said, “We are officially launching the TY Logistics Park FZE in Alaro City, a project that will shape the future of logistics in Lagos and strengthen our position as Nigeria’s leading industrial hub.
The governor commended General T.Y. Danjuma (Rtd.) and Senator Daisy Danjuma for their vision, stressing: “Through TY Holdings, they continue to show what responsible investment and confidence in Lagos truly look like.”
